While your children are very happily occupied with Hoopi’s Club, you can take the chance to relax by the pool or enjoy a few hours sightseeing.   At Canvas Holidays, we also have a club for teenagers – the Buzz Club. The Buzz Club organises sporting activities and outings for teenagers in July and August. We also have Canvas Wild & Active club run by our Wildlife couriers to help the whole family get closer to nature. Children under the age of four are not forgotten as our Toddlerland play club runs during May, June, early July and September. All clubs are free and exclusive to Canvas customers. Hoopi’s Club Hoopi’s Club is smaller and more personal than the huge gatherings of our competitors and it aims to be a little more educational and environmentally aware. H Club 4 is for younger children, where those aged 4-7 can enjoy a variety of sports and games – mini Olympics is always a favourite, or there are ghost hunts, nature trails and Harry Potter Days. The club format also takes into account how young the children are and how quickly they can tire, so there are plenty of more sedate activities too - face painting, story telling, the teddy bear's picnic and all manner of arts and crafts. H Club 8 is for 8-11 year olds. Being aged 8-11 means one thing - having bags of energy. With the age group split we can offer the older children more boisterous, active pursuits. Five-a-side, kwik cricket, hockey, table tennis tournaments as well as treasure hunts, discos and 'water-wars'. Once they have used up all that energy, there are some quieter activities too - arts and crafts days, quizzes and tee-shirt painting. All of our children's club couriers are specially selected - chosen for their skills in working with children - and purely for being friendly, open people. Typically they will have worked with children before - but whatever their background they all attend the Club training camp to prepare the new children's club programme each year. Open over Easter Hoopi's Club is open throughout the summer. It is the only children's club to open over the Easter holidays, then it operates from 20 May through to 2 September. Admission is free and restricted to Canvas holidaymakers. The Club normally meet at our very own specially decorated Hoopi tent. You will find the club at most of our sites. The full time clubs meet twice a day, six days a week. On smaller sites, the part time club meets two or three times a week. Wild & Active Clubs On 8 of our sites, our Wild & Active club is there to help children find out about the natural world on-site and in the surrounding area. There are children's sessions with an environmental theme (eg, pond dipping and nature games) plus a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy - star gazing, bat walks, canoe descents, visits to prehistoric caves and bird watching trips.
